Thanks to YoYo's recent develepment in Game Maker technology, I can transform my GM games into iOS ones! What does this mean for me? Well, awhile back, I dived into a new way thinking. I scraped all of my side projects, and initiated full scale work on VooDude. Along with redoing all of my previous work on it to fit an iDevices needs, I challenged myself to put effort into the artwork. So this game will be my first GAME. Not just some minor GM toy.
I have run into a few problems as well. While I find being able to publish a game with YoYo a plus, I also have to deal with the fancy buisness details. Finding background music will be painful. Normally, I just ask someone in the music composition buisness to let me use their work through verbal agreement. I've never had to meet them in person, which should be nessessary if I want the written agreement YoYo desires. Perhaps I'll just make some tunes with a couple guitars. Oh well.
